When We Give Thanks

It’s that time of year again when we gather with family and friends to share a meal and give thanks for all that we have in our lives.

As we gather with loved ones and connect with loved ones from afar, it’s a time for blessings and thoughtfulness and reflection. For many, it’s a departure from our daily routines, the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. A time to be in the here and now. A time to be present and give thanks. What are you thankful for?

So many people get caught up and lost in their daily lives that they often don’t make room in their daily schedule to stop and give thanks for what they have. Perhaps like many, this is you. Notice how many times in your day that you set aside time to be grateful and thankful for what you have. Like many, Perhaps you are more focused on that which you don’t have. That which you lack.

When your focus is on what you don’t have, what you lack, what you create is more lack.

When you send energy to the universe from a place of lack, the GOD and the universe responds with more lack. You see, the universe does not differentiate between your thoughts of lack, when lack is your focus. When you can begin to shift your thoughts and your desires, your speaking and your focus on that which you are thankful for, then you will receive more things in which you will be thankful for in the future.

When you give thanks to that which you already have, your life is  more fully realized and gratitude is at the center of your thoughts. When you are grateful for all of your current abundance, more abundance is what you create.

Today I attended a funeral service for the father of a client and friend.  As the decease’s nephew shared some of the incredible moments and memories of his uncle he reminded all of us how very wealthy is uncle was.  He told about how his family always saw him as wealthy.  Then he went on to share about the wealth of his uncle’s abundance of love, giving, sharing and receiving of the love with everyone he knew.  He indeed was a wealthy man.

So again, I ask you, what are you thankful for today? And everyday? You can create a life of gratitude and abundance and appreciation each and every day! My message for you today, turn each day of your life into Thanksgiving Day!

I am thankful for you!
